Once you have your baby registry set up, visit the Guest Services desk at your local Target store and ask for the free welcome kit. The Target website does recommend that you call the store ahead of time to make sure the store currently has a welcome kit in stock. After reading user comments online, it seems the most frequent complaint against this freebie is that the stores are constantly running low on these samples, so I would definitely suggest you call them first before visiting if you don’t want to return home empty-handed.

What Does the Target Welcome Kit Include?

Turns out, the Target Baby Registry website doesn’t actually tell us what sort of samples we can expect in this welcome kit (other than telling us that we will get “samples and coupons” worth $100). Fortunately, after some digging around, I found many people who had received their goodies bag had quite generously shared the details of what they had received.

It seems the exact contents of the welcome kit changes based on what is currently available at Target (and possibly other factors), but commonly mentioned products in this sample bag include:
